The Kikiloa Chronicles Review

I had the great honor of reading The Kikiloa Chronicles back in March of this year, during its beta reading stage and I loved it. My experience reading this novel was enjoyment and fascination. I very rarely feel books, or other media, involving time travel are done well. Generally, they feel like ways to cope out on narrative, the “We can fix it” mentality being the main thread of the storyline. But The Kikiloa Chronicles doesn’t get stuck in that mindset. Instead, I would describe this book as one of hope, where the future isn’t set and events can’t be “fixed,” where there are multiple copies of each person, but every individual is still responsible for their own actions.

Because those actions cannot be taken back.

The Kikiloa Chronicles is a multilayered narrative of glowing threads, full of possibility and vivid imagery that I truly can’t say enough about. Each scene holds such high emotional value and depth of human feeling.

If you’re looking for a twist on time travel that just might leave you breathless, The Kikiloa Chronicles is what you want.

Give it a read and find out for yourself. You just might close the book and end up staring off in thought, longing for more.
